There are plenty of ways for you to meet different people in our church.
Join us On Sunday
The best way to see what we're about is by meeting us at a worship service on a Sunday morning.
You'll meet the community, hear a sermon, and have a chance to connect in person.
Let us contact yoU
Leave your email address, and you'll receive our weekly newsletter so you can know what's going on at our church.
Also, one of our Redemption staff members will reach out to you soon to answer any additional questions you may have.
Come to an event
We hold casual events that build community and sometimes we have workshops or intensives to explore how the gospel changes everything (money, parenting, sex, politics, racism, etc.).
Visit our events page to find out what's happening next.
Is this your first time visiting Redemption?
We're so glad you're interested in getting to know Redemption Church! On this page, you'll find some commonly asked questions. This is for you if it's your first time coming to any church, or if you're a believer looking for a new church home, or if you're on the fence about church. It doesn't matter who you are or where you've been. You are welcome at Redemption, because even though we know we've done things and been people who don't deserve any love, the gospel tells us that we are more loved than we ever thought possible.
Where are you located?
Where should I park?
We have a large parking lot, with spaces reserved for first-time visitors. Parking is also available along Cypress Canyon Road, and behind EB Elementary School as well.
I need a ride to church. Can Redemption help me get to church?
Of course! We don't want anything to hold you back from coming to church on Sunday. We have a diaconate ministry team that is prepared to organize someone to come get you if you need transportation! Contact us, and we'll make sure you have a ride to church on Sunday morning.
What is a Sunday worship service like?
When you arrive, our greeters will help you get situated. Once the 10AM service begins, everyone will worship together. After about 15 minutes, young children and infants have the option of childcare and kids church.
We offer free childcare in our church nursery during the service for children 3 and under, and have a children's ministry option available for ages 3 and up where our young children learn the gospel from every Bible story during the sermon.
Our Sunday services are a time when we come together as a family to worship God and receive gospel-centered, Bible saturated teaching that relates to everyday life. We sing songs and hymns of praise led by live musicians, we pray, we listen to Bible readings, and we hear sermons about "Christ crucified."
After the service, we have refreshments and tend to hang around one another for casual conversation (and sometimes prayer—not in a weird way though). We want to get to know you, and everyone is invited. So please come worship God with us this Sunday!
What should I wear on Sunday?
Redemption has a welcoming, "come as you are" atmosphere. It's okay not to be "okay" at Redemption.
Some people dress very casual, and others wear something a little more dressed up. There are no expectations for attire, so please wear what makes you feel comfortable.
Do I have to be a Christian to attend?
No, you don't. In fact, we expect to have both Christians and non-Christians coming to our worship services each week. We welcome anyone who is interested in learning more about who Jesus is, what he has done, and what God is doing in San Diego right now.
